PU timing belts are made of thermoplastic polyurethane and a tensile cord (usually steel or Kevlar). They are highly abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant, and capable of power transmission. They are used in conveying and drive technology. They are available as closed endless belts or as open cut lengths that can be welded.
